Hey, girlfriends, welcome. Welcome to another episode of the Girlfriends podcast. I am so glad you're here. It is a balmy Monday morning. I say balmy

because it's actually a little later in the morning. Today's a day off. Martin Luther King Day.

And it's 27 degrees. Oh my gosh. Last little later in the morning. Today's a day off. Martin Luther King Day.

And it's 27 degrees. Oh my gosh. Last night was in the negative numbers. So this does feel particularly glorious compared to my living room being in my car. Okay, I'm out in my car.

You know I do this. I've got a few people up in the house and they're playing basketball.

But yeah, we're enjoying a day off here. I'm not working and dance not working today. So the kids are

home from school. And I kind of thought I would use today to finally take the Christmas stuff down,

but I haven't done it yet. And I'm feeling incredibly, incredibly unmotivated. I don't know. I might

still get to it. Are you one of those people who leaves it up till the baptism of the Lord and is all,

you know, high and mighty about it? Like, this is the proper way to celebrate Christmas. I'm not,

but sometimes I end up doing that. I always like to remember years ago, my friend Elizabeth Foss, her husband travels a lot for work and there was a year back when blogging was the thing. I remember her blogging. This was probably like eight years ago, maybe more. I don't know. Anyway, she was waiting for her husband to come home because he likes to be the one. They have an artificial tree and he likes to be the one to pack up the tree.

And she was waiting for him to be home and for it to be a good time for him to pack up the tree.

Well, it kept not happening.

And she wound up taking the Christmas ornaments off the tree and hanging paper hearts all over the tree for Valentine's Day.
