We have been focusing on feeling our feelings this week on the show every single day. And today,

I want to offer you just a really simple, gentle practice. I don't even know if I should call this a

practice because really it should be

and it is and can be a part of our everyday life. We don't have to make everything into a spiritual

practice. But since it's something we are going to arrive at with intention and on purpose,

I think we can't call it a practice after all. Today, I want you to offer yourself the space to have a really good cry.

Now, I know crying, usually for most of us, it's one of those things that just happens on

its own. It's a natural response. It's literally a bodily function, just like going to the

bathroom. When we feel sad, we cry. It's a natural part of feeling our

feelings. But because of our past conditioning and any complicated stories or relationships we might

have with the idea of vulnerability and shedding tears, many of us have a hard time actually

letting go and letting ourselves have that good cry,

especially in the moment of feeling hurt or feeling betrayed or feeling overwhelmed or experiencing

grief. We might not feel safe enough to actually express that in a public way. So we shut our

tears down and we take a big breath and we sort of soldier on through our day because
