Hey there and welcome to another episode of Shee today I want to talk about beauty and specifically I want to talk about a return to natural beauty

You know I love getting my nails done or my hair done just as much as the next gal and I'm all for that. I think that that can be a great thing.

But I also know there is such an unrealistic standard of beauty in our culture and there's so many, I don't know, just like modern beauty treatments that are so

invasive and so intense in our bodies and just as I've gone through my own journey with

skin health and

non-toxic beauty and all these things.

It's just been interesting as I've grown

in my own journey with beauty and body image

and self-confidence and all of these things, how much freedom I've experienced. beauty and

How much freedom I've experienced by shifting from a more

Conventional approach to beauty to a more natural approach to beauty.

And like I said, that doesn't mean I don't ever

utilize modern beauty treatments, right?

Like, I will get my nails done a few times a year

and things like that.

But so I'm not trying to be like a hypocrite and say like I don't you

know touch any of that but at the same time I also think it's important to speak to

because I feel like there's just so much pressure due to social media to do all the things and to

manipulate and you know try to contort our bodies and our faces and our beauty and I'm like

man biblically like beauty is a wonderful thing and God cares about beauty right like

God created so many beautiful things and we co-create you know we're naturally creative

and one of the ways we might create is by doing things like makeup.
