And let's turn back today to the Chauvin trial, which I've been watching very closely.

You know, for a living, I do what tops these on trials.

I read transcripts, I do appeals, mostly unfailed defenses because only the defendant has

the right to appeal.

If he loses the prosecution, the case is over, if they lose, I can't tell you today who's

going to win, who's going to lose, but I can give you an analysis of what's been happening

in the last couple of days and it's kind of cut both ways.

The two most crucial witnesses have been George Floyd's girlfriend, woman friend, who testified

in a way that both helps and hurts, the prosecution of both helps and hurts the defense.

On the one hand, she humanized Floyd's drug addiction.

She confessed that she was having trouble with drugs as well, and he was, and they were

trying to break the addiction, that humanizes it.

On the other hand, that's totally irrelevant.
