Smarter News. Well, hello, everyone. Welcome to Scoob. It is Tuesday, January 20th, and a significant

day for us all to take in, because where were you last January 20th? Where were you January 20th,

2025? I know exactly where I was. I was right in front of you because it was inauguration

day for President Trump. And it may be difficult to believe that here we have a full year of the

Trump administration. We're marking that today. Some may call it an anniversary. Some may have

other choice terms. Either way, it's been

exactly a year of the second iteration of the Trump administration. And there's certainly a lot to

reflect upon and a lot of big stories in front of us. Ironically today, we're also dealing with a

geomagnetic storm. The irony of this, I don't know how to make sense of it. A geomagnetic

storm is when we like to affectionately describe it as a sun burp. We don't know if the sun has

indigestion. Either way, the sun shoots off, burps up a flare, if you will, of energy, of particles, energetic particles,

sort of like a cloud, if you can imagine that way. And it comes towards Earth. And because of

Earth's magnetic sphere, magnetic sphere, because we have that, and these sort of these energetic particles can sort of disrupt a little bit

of what's happening here on earth. Imagine if you have magnets on a table and one just shifts

just sort of slightly, it could kind of move a couple others. This is what I'm imagining. I don't know

if it's exactly

scientifically correct, but it's the best I can do in this exact moment. So a geomagnetic storm is

taking place, and there was a severe warning. And in fact, the solar radiation storm is the

most severe that we've seen in more than 20 years. And if this storm

reaches Earth in strength, if we have this, the particles come to Earth with a certain

amount of severity or a certain amount of strength, it can impact our satellites. It can
