Well, hi, everybody. Welcome to Smarter News and a special broadcast I could not be more excited for. I know we have navigated a lot of unprecedented historic moments together as a news organization. And we have another one in front of us today, which is the first ever medical evacuation from the International Space Station. And this news kind of came across kind of abruptly at the

end of last week. And now the astronauts are actually coming back, the ones that are the focus of this,

which we'll get to, we don't know exactly who that is. They're actually coming back today.

So it's Wednesday. They're going to be coming back to Earth. They're going to be landing expected on

Thursday morning in California. And that's about all we know. But there's a lot here to this story, and there's a lot going on in space. I know there's a lot going on on Earth, too. Don't worry. But there's a lot happening in space. And it is one of the biggest stories of the year and something that we cannot lose sight of.

And it's such a great opportunity to talk to a friend of mine who's an amazing
