And periodically, we hear from the American president, although not frequently, President Trump has been one of the few, if not the only American president, to appear at this conference.

And he spoke for about 90 minutes today. He gave an address, and he also did a fireside chat on stage in front of a large audience.

And this happened over the course of 90 minutes. And in case you don't

have 90 minutes to spare, I just wanted to pull out for you some of the top news items. I was walking

around the block. I was doing work in my house, preparing for smarter news. And as I was listening to

what the president was talking about, I thought about all the distractions that are in front of the

press today. And as you know, I've been a journalist for 20 years. Nonpartisan news is my passion.
