Uh, I actually got a tip from a reader and a member and the CO2 dilemma was very simply solved with a sleeve.

I was completely overthinking it with a double threaded thing but yeah you just get a small

little bit of plastic sleeve and sit it between the CO2 head and the

cartridge and it stops the CO2 head from bottoming out on the cartridge.
