I'm John Batchew with my colleague and friend Malcolm Honan of the Conference of President's

Israel has barred aid going in until the Hamas negotiates.

Honestly, they did allow in, as you know, a thousand trucks a day.

But Israel has also taken steps back by the United States.

And they cut off electricity in various steps, although almost all the electricity in Gaza is generated locally for fuel-powered

drip. The rest comes from three water pipelines from Israel. Even, yes, during the war,

in the papers. And now there's the pressure being brought to

bear. They should cut down the water lines and the cut off the water lines as well. And that would be

a significant pressure. But as far as now, it's at best partial. But the cut is seen as a step in

a direction of taking more dramatic steps that will force the Hamas to take

the negotiations more seriously and release the hostages. It can't go on this way. The families are
