major American Jewish organizations, my colleague and co-host. And we're very pleased to be

welcomed by our reporter up front. Alex Trayman. He is the CEO and the Jerusalem correspondent of J&S News Service. We spoke with Alex when he was in the Holy Land. Now we're speaking with him when he's in America asking about the Holy Land and the opinion of certainly the voting citizenry, but in general, the institutions of Israel, watching President

Trump's trip through the Middle East, declarations, handshaking with Shara, deals cut,

mention of this and that, and Alex, a very good day to you. I'm going to say it's a pleasure

to speak to you again, except for we've got to interpret

headlines that continually run in the Financial Times out of London, using the word separation

or gap or hostility about the relationship between the President of the United States and the

Prime Minister of Israel. That is a puzzle to everyone here. What is London talking about

and is Jerusalem talking about it? Good evening to you. Good evening, John. Good evening, Malcolm.

You have a real strange confluence of forces here, both the Israeli left, which is backed up in America

by the progressive left-wing media. And at the same time,

the isolationist's right in America all trying to project a rift between the president of the United

States and the prime minister of Israel. The Israeli left is trying to project that rift because they want to

be able to demonstrate that the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is so dangerous to the

Israeli public that he's even ruined the relationship with the best friend that Israel's ever had in

the White House so that the Israeli people begin to finally realize that they've made the same mistake over and over again

to vote for Netanyahu that it's time to vote for somebody else. And so they're projecting something

which is extraordinarily dangerous. The isolationist right in America is trying to pick off Trump

from his support of Netanyahu because they don't want to see the United States get engaged

in another military
