Welcome to our new project, the Daily Bible Devotional. The goal is to help you understand and apply

scripture as you go through a New Testament Bible read five days a week, Monday through Friday,

as we move from Matthew straight through to Revelation. In under four minutes each morning, we will recap the chapter,

make some application, present thought questions for the day, and offer a prayer together.

I'm excited about exploring God's word with you, so let's get started.

Welcome back to our daily Bible devotional study through the New Testament. We are in Galatians

chapter 6. Believers should support one another in love, restoring with gentleness those who have

fallen into sin while being aware of their own weaknesses. Paul reminds them to bear one another's

burdens fulfilling the law of Christ.

He warns against pride and self-deception urging everyone to examine their own actions.

He emphasizes that whatever one sows, they will also reap.

Those who live for the flesh will experience destruction, but those who live by the spirit will receive eternal life.

Paul encourages perseverance in doing good,

promising that in due time they will reap a harvest if they do not give up.

Believers should do good to everyone, especially fellow Christians.

Finally, he stresses that boasting is in the cross of Jesus,

not personal achievements, for grace comes only through him.

That humility is always present in Paul's letters. Christians are imperfect and sometimes find themselves caught up in shortcomings. Thankfully, God has created his family to support one

another. If we remain humble and cautious, we can assist each other in repenting of sin and restoring

a faithful relationship with God.

Cultivating spiritual qualities and the lives of others benefits them and leads to gaining

favor from the Lord and support from fellow believers.
