Welcome to our new project, the Daily Bible Devotional. The goal is to help you understand and apply

scripture as you go through a New Testament Bible read five days a week, Monday through Friday,

as we move from Matthew straight through to Revelation. In under four minutes each morning, we will recap the chapter,

make some application, present thought questions for the day, and offer a prayer together.

I'm excited about exploring God's word with you, so let's get started. Good morning and welcome to

our daily Bible devotional study. We are in Galatians the fifth chapter.

Believers must stand firm in the freedom Christ has given them, not returning to the bondage of the law.

Paul warns that relying on the law for righteousness separates them from grace. Instead, faith

expressing itself through love is what truly matters. He cautions against false

teachers and emphasizes that Christ has set them free. Paul explains that freedom is no excuse for sin,

but an opportunity to serve others in love. He contrasts the works of the flesh, such as immorality,

hatred, and jealousy with the fruit of the spirit, which as immorality, hatred, and jealousy with the fruit of the Spirit,

which includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control.

He encourages believers to walk by the Spirit, resisting sinful desires.

Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh and should live in step with the spirit producing

in certain ways show the least amount of grace and love and that's what these judiizing teachers were doing

they were heartless and they were missing the

true point. We want to obey all of the laws of God, but the fruit of the spirit must be wrapped around

return to anything that enslaves us. True freedom is not about doing whatever we want, but about living by the
