And this time, it's animals killed for their fur.

Our guests today are Kara Holmquist of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention

of Cruelty to Animals, Max Broad of D.C. voters for animals, and Connor Lampkin of the Humane League.

And they're here to tell us about the ongoing dynamic and really exciting work to shut down the sale of fur, town by town, city by city, state by state, heart by heart.

And it's a good time for you to have things you like because it is your birthday this

weekend. Yay. Why are we talking about that? Because it's a

national holiday, your birthday, isn't it? Yeah, I'm really old. Are you excited about your birthday?

I am excited because you have made plans for my birthday and you are taking me to a psychic yes and so i'm going to find out

my future hopefully it's not going to be that i'm going to die next year yeah they ever say things like

that i guess they don't i don't know anybody being told that that would be bad they would be out of

business really soon but i am excited about it you know i, I have that slight thing, like, I'm very rational

in a lot of ways, but very irrational in a lot of other ways. And I never know exactly, you know,

there's always part of me. I'm very superstitious. Like, I have like little OCD things,

which are kind of related to superstition. Like you know if there's a if there's dishes in

the sink and I don't want to do them all if I wash one I have to wash five I know yeah that's

and I not I truly have to yeah it's not optional it's a little OCD thing it's a big OCD thing. It's a big OCD thing, yeah.
