We are diving into Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 through 8, and these are some of my favorite

verses in the book of Proverbs because they are just so memorable, they've just stuck

in my heart and in my soul so well, and I hope that they do the same for you.

Proverbs 3, verses 5 through 8, read this way, trust in the Lord with all your heart and

do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths.

Be not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

Friends, there are a handful of contrasts in these verses between looking at things through

God's lens and looking at things through our own lens, between doing things God's way

and doing things our way.
