I'm doing good, thanks.

You sound a little beat down.

You still tired from vacation?

You know, not so much.

I guess you'll understand what I'll tell you a story because she actually ended up leaving early.

Oh, really? that's a lucky

boy okay yeah um so we go into this holiday and um my husband called and explained to her that we

don't let we just want a new home so we don't let animals sleep in the beds or anything like that

so he told her that she couldn't um if she was going to bring her shoe small dogs, that they had to be created at night. Okay, let me stop you there for just one second. Is that a story that you and he devised together knowing that she would not like those rules and maybe she'd say, eh, then I can't do this? Well, I mean, no, we didn't come up with it.

That's just our rule.

We have two small dogs, and they don't sleep with us, but we knew that she would get there and say, oh, I don't have a crate now. So we wanted to go ahead and, you know, just let her know early on that she had to bring something and put the dogs in. I will say that that's a great boundary that your husband's setting with his own mom, you know?

Which is really great,

and I thought that it was going to turn out to be great, you know, that it was coming from him because I thought, okay, well, maybe the problem is that the last few years or whatever that I've had to deal with everything's come, you know, for me. So I look like the witch. You know, I look like the one that the bearer of bad news.

So I thought it was going to be a good idea that everything came from him.

And I guess it worked to my advantage because, you know, he told her that.

She was like, okay, well, I can't bring one of them because he'll cry all night.

Well, she has one, a new little dog, and he peed on everything in my house.
