Most friendships are tense this week, man.

You lost, not lost, but just tension with one friend over what was supposed to be a surprise birthday party that he ruined.

Yeah, one of my friends whom is my longest friend, actually, from since sixth grade.

And we don't speak often, we we speak every once in a while

and I didn't know but my lady was trying to throw a surprise birthday party for my 40th and I found

this out because he texts me out of nowhere asking me if I had a girlfriend from Columbia to which

I told him no I do not and I had no idea why he was asking me that. And then he said,

he thought it was because he was being scammed. So again, I said, what are you talking about?

Then he sent me a screenshot of my lady clearly telling him, I am trying to throw a surprise birthday

party for him, and I know you're one of his friends, and I'd love for you to show up and surprise

him. He sent me the screenshot of her doing this. And that's how I found out that she was trying to plan a surprise birthday party. I know you had to have been big mad, but she had to have been bigger mad. I was actually more mad than she was. Really? She was, she at first, like her first reaction, she was living. She was absolutely livid. As she should be. But she gets over things so quickly that she was trying to calm me down. Because I was more mad for her in the effort that I knew she was putting in. And it just made zero sense to me that he would do that. Like, why would that be your first option? It was so many other options that he had to try to figure it out. and then the icing on the cake was when he wrote her saying I'm not going to be able to make it.

But we got a whole another one going on. Yeah, they say you should never put your friends on your podcast.

I've heard a lot of podcast ruining friendships for whatever reason,

and it just seems to be a tough balance.

And so for that reason, I typically don't.
