You're on the virtue. A horrific tragedy happened in our country on Saturday and I felt

like the virtue needed to address it and needed to talk about it as the black community

was targeted and 10 people were killed by a mass shooter.

The 18-year-old suspected of opening fire at a Buffalo supermarket Saturday told authorities

he was targeting the black community.

The alleged gunman made disturbing statements describing the motive and state of mind following

his arrest.

The statements were clear and filled with hate towards the black community.

The gunman killed 10 people wounded three others at the top's friendly market store in

a predominantly black neighborhood in Buffalo.

11 of the people who were shot were black.

At around 2.30 pm, the suspect drove to tops, friendly markets wearing tactical gear and

armed with an assault weapon.

The suspect allegedly shot and killed three people in the parking lot wounding a fourth.

The suspect then entered the store and exchanged gunfire with an armed security guard who

was a retired member of the Buffalo Police Department.

Because the suspect wore heavy tactical gear, however the guard's bullets did not have

any effect.

Inside the store, 9 people were shot before the suspect was apprehended by police.
