What exactly is crippling debt?

Because she says she loves this man, she likes to marry this man, but he's got

crippling debt. Knowing what we do like that first the major stressor in that first year

of marriage finances right typically so would you go into a marriage knowing

that this dude's coming into it with a hundred thousand dollars debt

Hi Bert I really need your help in the guidance of Kristen Mo, Cassian Abbey. I am said to get married in May 2025. Then you is booked.

However, I recently found out my partner has an insurmountable amount of debt.

I recently paid off his $2,000 credit card debt to help him out, but now I have

found out that he's got over $90,000 debt in student loans. I do feel like student loan debt is different

than credit card debt. It is different. It is different. His credit score is in the

low 500s and I worry that I will be supporting him for the rest of my life.

We've been together for seven years and I feel like this is my best friend.

I haven't talked to my family about this because we've also tried to handle all issues in-house.

You know how it can be when you tell a family member about your significant other and their

perspective on that person can change forever.

He's a great guy besides the debt. He supports me in other ways, cooks, cleans, has supported me throughout my career, transitions in life, and while I climbed the career ladder. But I'm worried that I'm making a mistake going through with this

wedding I've even told him that in order for me to feel secure moving forward I

will be looking into getting a pre-nup.

It's not a great feeling to be thinking about pre-nups prior to a wedding,

but I feel it is necessary.

Please help.
