Okay, so tonight we're going to be talking about supposed contradictions in the Bible.

We've talked so far in our series on evidence for the Bible, we've talked about prophecy

as being like a foundational thing for knowing that the word of God is in fact God having spoken to us.

Prophecy is really a much bigger deal than the issue of contradictions.

We've talked about has the Bible been changed, what are the ancient sources for the documents themselves?

We've talked about a lot of different stuff

that is actually more foundational to defending the Bible.

But then the issue of contradictions comes up

way more than those other things. This is more of the like on the street

this is the stuff you actually end up talking about when you're like what did you know

that Codex sign the Atticus like they're not really talking about that. They're talking about

supposed contradictions in the Bible. So a lot of us have heard this claim. The

Bible is full of contradiction. Just absolutely full of it.

Just utterly, ridiculously, pathetically, obviously,

the Bible couldn't be from God.

Because it's full of contradictions.

We've heard that.

How should we respond when someone says the Bible is full of contradictions?

Any thoughts?
