I'm Pastor Mike Winger and this is Bible Thinker the program dedicated to thinking

biblically about everything.

So before we get into the Bible contradictions that we're going to talk about tonight, I just want to remind us of what this series is all about.

This series, Evidence for the Bible, is meant to be a long, somewhat exhaustive series dealing with why we should trust the Bible, handling

the most common and the most important attacks on the Bible. Sometimes the common

ones aren't terribly important, sometimes the important ones

aren't terribly common, but I'm going to try to handle both because sometimes someone will claim

something against the scripture that even if it's true doesn't really undermine much.

It's more of a talking point.

Other times, they're more rare claims,

but these are really important to discuss.

So that's why I started the series dealing with prophecy. So we laid out a prophetic

foundation for seeing that God has in fact spoken through the Bible. Because then

all the other questions come out. Well how do I know this was written before

these things took place? How do I know this was written before these things took place?

How do I know the text hasn't changed over time?

How do I know the translations that are available to me are faithful to the original?

And so we've done with, we dealt with all that.

And so right now we're dealing with a more common attack, the supposed

contradictions in the Bible. So tonight we're going to go over 13 Bible

contradictions. Yes, that's right. 13 supposed Bible contradictions. Now what I'm doing tonight that's
