They started Napland yesterday. Oh, cranky. And they had English writing, and it's quite funny. It's like the teachers have pried them with snacks. so they had beautiful big platters of fresh fruit and musli bars.

We did not get that. No. Wow. Wow. That's a very nice carrot and stick approach, isn't it? No, isn't it? It's like get your lunch and stick approach. Crittets. Wow. And then last night we had parent teacher. And for the first time we did it via Zoom, sort of outside of... This was me last word. Parent teacher thing is this is the last year we'll ever have a kid in school. I am not going to miss that. There are many things I'm going to miss. But it is so chaotic, isn't it? It's like speed dating. It is, and it's like queuing up for a cab because you wait in line for your Zoom meeting to start, even though they're running overtime because, you know, but do you think it's better than the old one? Do you remember when you used to have sort of, you're in that room where it's physically going? He goes seven minutes. He's like the Oscars. He starts playing up the music. He's got cello keyboard. Anyway, I was half asleep because it is late in the day. It feels like midnight for me. And then there was this awkward pause.

And Chris is just like looking at me bemused and she goes, yes, I have Audrey Ford geography.
