Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio, the world headquarters of common sense.

Though I'm sorry to say, despite my entreaties to the contrary yesterday, there are still plenty of people out there, not exactly excelling themselves in the intelligence department.

Numpties, I call them. There are people advertising fuel for sale on Facebook. There are other people pulling knives on one another on petrol station four courts.

And there are hordes of idiots still blaming the shortage of everything on a lack of

HGV drivers, which is clearly not the case, which we explained yesterday was not the case,

and which we told you is for a whole variety of reasons, not least the fact that the DVLA's

not working, not least the fact that ridiculous EU laws were put in to make it much

more difficult to become HGV drivers, and the cost itself of being one. That is the problem.

This morning we'll be surveying the scene out there on the roads, and this morning they were

busier than ever, with the help of Andrew Bridge and MP and Howard Cox from Fairfuel UK.

But of course, we need your help as well. Tell us what you're seeing, what you're hearing, and where you are going, if indeed you're able to go anywhere, because for a place

that's got a shortage of lorries and a shortage of lorry drivers, there's an awful lot of traffic

out there, isn't there? 0344491,000. that difficult to explain what a woman is, should it? But the Labour Party can't seem to quite figure it out.

Maybe it's because they've got people like Angela Rainer running things. She'll also bring us

the latest, of course, on the front line of the vaccinating children in school scenarios,

as we hear this morning that Bath University is amongst one of the many places where

they're starting to treat people who haven't been vaccinated slightly differently from people who have.

That can't be a good thing.
