What's up everyone? Welcome back to the show. Today we're talking about easy fruits to grow in pots because like I've mentioned before

It can be a little discouraging if you're in an urban environment at least to think about your fruit production.

That's a more challenging thing to do. It requires a little more patience, a little more space,

and maybe a little more growing experience as well. I'm fortunate enough

to have a couple of loquot trees on my property which are actually in full fruit right

now so I've been harvesting I actually just took about three quarters of a pound off of them just a few days ago

Now what if you're not lucky like me and you don't have any fruit trees that are already well established on the property?

What if you don't even have the ability to plant fruit trees that are already well established on the property. What if you don't even have the ability to plant

fruit trees in the ground? Is there any hope left for you? Well, there definitely is. Now here are some

fruits that you may want to consider.

The most common will ever really talk about is going to be the humble lemon.

There are many different varieties of lemon that can be grown in containers that are even quite small to be honest.

And so you can get a dwarf lemon tree and that's going to be a good first foray

into growing some fruit.

Strawberries are another obvious choice.

You can grow them in containers.

My friend Kaleed the Plant Charmer.

He got sort of known for growing his strawberries in rain gutters in A-frames and he was

exceptionally successful at doing that. So strawberries are another great choice.

Now we've already talked about columnar apple trees and so you can get either a

dwarf or a columnar apple tree and grow those in a whiskey barrel. It does require a

little more patience. It will take some time to produce.
