Mark, thanks for joining us, my friend. Really excited to join. Yeah, it's great to have you. So how

would you get it started by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do? Yeah, sure. So my name is Mark Howland. I grew up in a small lower middle class household in Cleveland,

Ohio. My mom was a public defender for 40 years and committed her entire life to improving

the quality life of others. And she really instilled those values in me. And I had a lot of

opportunities that I was presented.

I was able to do pretty well in school, got scholarship to go to a top college preparatory

high school and led to an opportunity to go to Brown University.

I was a business econ major, also a dual sport athlete in football and track and ended up

going to the financial world.

Got an opportunity to work at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker for several years.

And then at the Carlisle Group of Private Equity Fund after that and was able to get an

opportunity to go to Harvard Business School for my MBA.
