happened in April of 2022 and her job was in desperate need of an assistant. So there was one person

she knew that would be a

great fit, but it was her ex. So they were still friends, even though their relationship didn't work

out. So she reached out to him suggesting that he applied for the job and he ended up getting

it. So then our listener didn't want to tell her husband because she knew that he wouldn't approve of this situation.

And obviously this is really frustrating to her because her ex has now, had recently come out as gay, which is something that her husband was aware of.

So then she reached out to us for advice.

And then we unanimously advised her to tell her husband ASAP.

So did she take our advice or not?

Dear Bert Show, I'm happy to give you an update, but I won't lie, going back in time to remember everything that happened still makes me so embarrassed.

I did tell my husband that we had decided to hire

my ex to work as an assistant. He reacted the way I assumed he would. He was upset and told me he

didn't think it was very considerate of his feelings to go behind his back and hire someone I had a

history with.
