I moved. I bought a house in Philadelphia and I was driving from Philly to Staten Island for my

classes with my then three-year-old son who also got sick. Anything that could happen in the

middle of my five years, it took five years to get this. My son got sick after he was born and

we were in a hospital for two and a half months for surgeries

that he needed. So I was living in the hospital, but I couldn't not go to school because I'd lose

my scholarship. So I met this guy at a table trying to bid a woman-owned business construction

company. And he's like, oh, I'm a real estate agent.

I'm like, oh, so what are you sold?

And I'm like, nothing yet.

And he was like, well, what do you know, how are you getting business?

And I whipped out my little computer and I was like, well, I made this CRM and I made this

website and I did all these beautiful flyers and he's like how many contracts

have you signed and I'm like none and he's like well you know zero percent of zero is still zero right

I got sick when I first moved here uh it turns out my second pregnancy was not friends with my

heart um so the first year I got here I really couldn't It turns out my second pregnancy was not friends with my heart.

So the first year I got here, I really couldn't work.

I was trying to work.

I didn't know I was sick.

I couldn't under, I didn't know my market.

I didn't know any people.

I came.
