So all month this month at Awesome Marriage, we're talking about money and marriage, super fun stuff.

So today we're going to be diving into the topic of the difference between my money

and our money and how to move from kind of mine to ours in a healthy way.

So Dr. Kim,

why is operating as our money so important to a marriage?

What benefits does it have on a marriage to kind of have that mindset?

You know, when we have its arm money, it goes to that oneness concept that we talk about.

It goes to operating as a team.

It keeps that kind of keeps selfishness out of it, which can be a huge problem.

And so I think the benefits for a marriage is it can eliminate the conflict in marriage

because so many marriages, I mean, anytime you see a survey of the problems in marriage,

finance is always up there. It's either one, two, or three. And so we know that's a consistent

problem. It's interesting. It's also the most mentioned topic in the New Testament. So it's not like

God said, oh, yeah, he knew we were going to have problems with it. So I think it really helps change our focus and it really keeps us focused on what God wants us to do, how he wants us to handle our money.

Yeah, I think that's great.

And I think, too, it's just, yeah, like marriage is a partnership.
