That's a scene from a trailer for a recent movie about Bigfoot.

The mythical Harry Behemoth, who, according to some, lurks deep in the forests of North America,

perennially hunted by believers, never actually found.

The passionate belief in the existence of the elusive Bigfoot has been a staple of American culture for years,

but a Republican congressman from Virginia, who has himself gone on Bigfoot hunts,

has recently noted a striking parallel between Bigfoot believers and the followers of Donald Trump,

a parallel that has only gotten more noticeable in the aftermath of the 2020 election amid the president's baseless claims of election fraud.

Both the Bigfoot crowd and the Trump crowd are firm and unshakable in their convictions.

Both are seemingly unmoved by contrary evidence which they dismiss as concocted by powerful establishment forces.
