It's fair to say that outside New York City, few Americans had ever heard the name Nicole

Malliotakis. She was a New York State Assemblywoman from the conservative stronghold of

Staten Island, who had been clobbered in a race for mayor against Bill DiBlasio. But on

election day, Malliotakis, a loyal Trump supporter, pulled off an upset victory over Democratic

Congressman Max Rose, one of more than 10 GOP pickups in house races across the country,

ensuring that Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats will have one of the narrowest majorities in years.

Malliotakis has already made a name for herself, vowing to join a handful of her fellow

freshman Republican women who will form a counter to the squad of progressives led by her fellow New

Yorker, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. We'll talk to Malliotakis about what she hopes her counter-squad

will accomplish, about where she stands on the president's baseless claims of election fraud,

and much else on this episode of Skull Duggery.
