Because it was probably an eight month process of, honestly, me just being pretty

directionless and kind of anxious about what do I do? Because on one hand, I'd basically been

preparing my whole life to work at Morgan Stanley. I just knew I wanted to be in sales and trading

because that's what my family did. And so I was in my dream job at the time. But on the other hand,

I wasn't feeling fulfilled in my dream job. And so I knew that there was going to kind of be a fork

in the road where at some point I was going to either stay at Morgan Stanley and get rid of

Morning Brew or go to Morning Brew and leave Morgan Stanley. I thought about what would I regret

more? I remember like in call it 2017, 2018 and 2019. I didn't have much money, but I was so happy.

I just had this anxiety and emptiness about like I just want that level of happiness again.

If you choose the path of entrepreneurship, it is okay to not love every part of the journey.
