| 1:05.0 | Today's meditation is on a growing crisis in our country and in the world. The Surgeon General has declared loneliness in isolation of public health crisis. |
| 1:21.0 | Roughly half of Americans suffer from this disease, |
| 1:24.9 | which I call Friendship Deficit Syndrome, |
| 1:28.7 | in which people have no one to share deeply with. |
| 1:32.1 | In 2017, 47,000 Americans died of suicide, number two killer |
| 1:38.1 | of teens behind motor vehicle accidents. Another 70,000 died of drug overdose, the number one killer of Americans |
| 1:47.3 | under 50. |
| 1:49.9 | Do we see loneliness around us? |
| 1:53.3 | What about within us? |
| 1:56.2 | Do we share deeply with anyone on a regular basis? |
| 2:01.1 | And who is God put in our life so that we can share deeply with them? |
