Welcome back to the podcast, Shallon Gators. I'm sorry we're a few days late. You know,

some things need time to ripen like a fine wine. This isn't one of those things though. I'm so sorry

it's just me being a bad podcaster. I was driving back to Montana, but you know what? While I was

driving, I had a lot of time, as you can imagine, to think and not just think, but listen to one of

my all-time favorite books, Essentialism. Now we did it as a shalliterature book club, I think,

last year, and I really wanted to revisit it while I had the bandwidth and again, so very much time

to really listen to it absorb it, let it percolate, and go back to Montana after four months,

traveling around and being in California and Arizona for the winter, and kind of come back to

my home base with a fresh perspective and a fresh start. And different goals, different habits,

just kind of do some emotional and physical, like, because Essentialism is also about cleaning out

your things, spring cleaning. So this episode, we're going to talk about friendships and not just

cleaning out friendships, but reconnecting and how all of these concepts kind of tie together.
