Hey friends, welcome back. We are in Proverbs 1, and I believe that we will finish the chapter today.

We're talking about the power of pure pressure and the application of wisdom to our life situations.

The Bible is so practical. And here's a dad that has great concern for his son.

And it's interesting because in many respects,

Solomon was so adversely influenced by peer pressure.

The multiplication of wives and concubines,

actually, those relationships and the prevalence of them

turned his heart, divided his heart.

And one of the reasons why Solomon's kingdom was split

that God told us was because of that very reason that Solomon allowed this

kind of pressure to have sway in his life. And I think Solomon, there's almost a sense of

warning here to say, don't do as I did, but learn. And certainly that's what the book of Ecclesiastes

is about. Look at verse 24, where Solomon continues to talk about wisdom and wisdom calling out to us and do right and do it God's way.
