Have you ever heard the statement, list makers get things done?

That's true.

People that are processed people or high achievers, they usually operate on a set of daily goals or a list. Have you ever noticed that God employs lists in the Bible?

You'll find them all throughout the Bible. For instance, you'll see the

list of sins in Romans chapter 1, the end of Romans 1. I think there are 32 of them. I might be wrong

on that, but it's a long, long list of sins. And then the works of the flesh are listed or the fruit of the spirit is listed.

They're in Galaisans chapter 5. I don't know if there is a more important list in the Bible

about what upsets God, what God hates, then the list we're going to read today. And I will say this, if God hates something,

we probably ought to know what that is. And if God hates something, that's a pretty strong word.

If something is an abomination to God, then it probably ought to be something that we pay attention to

and make sure that it's not

any part of our life. So let's find out what that is today. Proverbs chapter six, verse 16,

these six things doth the Lord hate, yea, seven are an abomination unto him. That's a Hebrew way of saying,

these are seven really, really important things for us to consider. I was going to make the comment,

this is the first mention in the Bible of six,
