Hey guys, welcome back. I want to talk today about drawing a line. You know, in life, we all draw

0:07.2

lines. What are the non-negotiables? Where do we stand and why? What are we willing to sell out and why?

0:16.0

Today we'll find a negative example, but a really important example to consider in drawing the line in

0:23.5

our lives. Listen in. Welcome to Everyday Truth with Kurt Skelly. We believe the Bible is true

1:37.9

1:47.9

it was there that God demonstrably showed himself strong. And it was very evident that the prophets

1:55.3

of Bale had to bow to the true God. And there Elijah slew the prophets of Bail. Remember, the rain came

2:04.9

as a symbol of God's blessing, that the people had turned back to God. So it seemed as if in the

2:12.1

short term good things were happening. But how often in our lives do we see in the short term good things

2:20.0

happening? We make a big decision. We come to a, you know, come to Jesus moment. We see things

2:25.9

clearly only to revert back to some really deadly and toxic habits. And that's what's happening here with Ahab.
