Hello, friends. Welcome back. Brand new chapter today, Galatians chapter six, but not really a new

section because Galatians chapter six verses one through five provides for us a great example

of why the spirit-filled life is so important. Remember this. Spiritfulness is not a

trophy that we put on our shelf. It's not a badge that we wear. Look at me. I'm full of God's spirit.

That actually defies spiritfulness. That's vain glory.

Remember, the chapter five ended with that comparison.

That a spirit-led person is one who is going to have these aspects of the fruit of the spirit

serve other people. And the contrast to that is, let's not be desirous of vain glory. Why? Because

that is the motivation of the flesh. The motivation of the flesh is to look good, provoke one another and being one another.

Flesh-driven ministries, flesh-driven people are people that are always comparing.
