Kurt for today's episode. Hey friends, welcome back. We are as promised in Galatians chapter 5,

and we're looking at what is the evidence of someone who has been

born again thereby has the Holy Spirit of God living inside of him and is walking in obedience to the

Lord is yielding himself to the control of God's spirit in his life.

What should be the evidence of that kind of life?

Another Bible word to use for evidence is the word fruit.

What is the fruit of that kind of living?

Well, the Bible tells us famously in verse 22 of Galatians chapter 5,

where the Bible says, but the fruit of the spirit is. Interesting. Fruit is. Doesn't say fruits are. and that's an important distinction because we ought to look at the fruit of the spirit as nine descriptions really of one evidence so the evidence of walking in the spirit the evidence of the fullness of the evidence. So the evidence of walking in the spirit, the evidence of the fullness of the

spirit of God in my life is, and it's not that, okay, here I see this one, I see that one.

Now, the point is, these are descriptions of the whole thing. So it'd be like one piece of fruit that you could describe in

nine ways. It's not like nine pieces of fruit. And I think that's important. So watch what it says.

The fruit of the spirit is, and then it gives us love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance against such

there is no law. So what we talked yesterday about the evidences of a life devoid of God's

spirit and what is the assessment of, the evidences of a life devoid of God's spirit.

And what is the assessment of someone that habitually practices those kinds of things in his life?

And wow, it was a difficult lesson.
