For our last episode of the week, we're going to bring back our favorite segment, headlines

to speak for themselves.

Let's start with the good news.

Yesterday marks the highest number of vaccinations in a month, and a record-breaking day for

administering first-of-shots in months.

Especially good news is that the vaccination rates in Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama,

Oklahoma, and Mississippi have hit levels not seen since April.

Yesterday, President Biden and his administration gathered with members of Congress for a ceremony

to honor the police officers who responded to the January 6th insurrection.

Let me guess, the 21 Republican members of Congress who voted against honoring the officers

didn't attend the ceremony.

Andrew Cuomo is still governor of New York, but state lawmakers gave Cuomo a warning that

their impeachment investigation is almost done, and they gave him a deadline of August 13

to provide additional evidence.

But there are clearly enough votes in the New York Assembly to impeach him regardless,
