What are we doing here?

Well, our boss probably thinks that we were late today, but we weren't late. No, it's not anything on the rock. We've never started without an intro. I know, but... I didn't feel good about it. I don't, I don't love it. It doesn't matter what time it runs. I, I, I, I, I, I, it's been an executive called and I played at all. Well, no, there's been a back and forth.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I played it one time later when we got a later start. And he said, no, just, just start to show as if that's repeat. I, you don't quote me on that. So that was the thought that crossed my mind as he went through this.

Well, I didn't know that, but that makes a lot of sense. He's really good at it. So, did he call you? I would say, you know, like a big picture stuff, leave to him. You know, little tiny creative moments. why don't we go ahead and take the reins on that, huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Well, you know, I just, I just, I'm happy that we all made it here on time, and that none of this was our fault. No, I wouldn't. And by the way, some people are like, unless... And I'll explain it, just real quick. A lot of people who work in radio, you know, they would have walked in here and lost their mind.

Or hell, I don't know, you know, quarterbacks in the NFL. They have that same kind of ego. Something going on. Yeah, and so they come in, they're like, what are you talking about? I can't go on the, and I'm, I just walked in. First time I walked in, let me be honest. Our engineer is about a six foot four, six foot five black guy. Now, this is, I walked in, well, you know, I don't know, 10 minutes to six, 15 minutes, whatever. And this is what it's like coming to work this early in the morning. I know people who are up, you completely understand this. If you listen to it in a podcast because you work nights, this won't make sense to you. But I just walked in and said, the lights were bright. I go, Slim, why do you got the lights so bright? And the guy looked at me, and I was like, eh. Never been mistaken? I was, and I said that to what I said, I bet you have never been mistaken before, have you? He's like, no, I haven't. I was like, right. Anyway, so what happened was, you know, some sort of technical problem and the computers were down or something.

So he was fixing him. And one thing I will say, and this will sound a little deep-ish, I think.

No, just let me say this. And it has nothing to do with him. I love him. My guy's great.

But it does seem like when stuff breaks, it's always in here. I never see other morning shows just walk outside and be like, we wouldn't know. What are you doing? And they're like, ah, stuff doesn't work. I don't know why it is. It must be just, you know, like the curse of this room. Or maybe it's because, you know, I don't know, I drink booze and smoking here, and it ruins the electronics.

I don't know what it is, but it is always ours that is down. I think we just noticed it, you know? It's happening to us. It's happening to us. I don't know. Are they even here? I haven't seen them in years. They're here. When's the last time you saw anybody over there? I see people at the wolf.
