Here's your host, Child Therapist Natasha Daniels.

0:11.0

Well, hello there, and welcome to a short brief little talk on the AT

0:16.6

parenting survival podcast. I decided to pop on today even though it is

0:21.4

Thursday and talk to you about something I'm starting next

0:26.0

week because I didn't want you to wait until my podcast episode comes out on

0:30.5

Tuesday because at that point I'll be halfway through my free resource

0:35.4

that I'm offering everybody and that's not fair to you guys because I kind of

with kind of managing your own stress, managing your own perspective towards your child with anxiety or OCD. Now most of us are going to say yes

1:22.4

kids with anxiety or OCD because we need a unique

1:26.4

kind of self-care going to the spa getting our nails done that's not going to cut it for us. It's great and you can do it and it's

1:36.0

awesome but that's not what you need you need more than that. So I decided to do a

1:42.2

three-part video series and talk to you about the three rules of self-care that are super necessary if you're going to successfully parent a child with anxiety or OCD. I have watched parents for the last two decades in my practice and it's kind

1:57.3

of been like my own scientific experiment to sit here over two decades and

2:01.6

watch the patterns that I see emerge.

2:04.0

And when you sit there for that long watching people in similar situations
