I want to talk to you today about the persistence of fraud in America's government.

We are familiar with this, of course, if you are at all a conservative or just a citizen who cares about how their money is spent and knows that money doesn't grow on trees but comes out of your pocket, then you are familiar with the fraud that exists within your community, that exists within your city or town, and particularly that exists within the American federal government.

What I think people are unfamiliar with is the sheer scale that we are talking about.

They are not used to the idea that these types of things have persisted

for years, that they've been going on right under our noses and in our communities. Someone

should be in charge of getting rid of it. Someone should be paying attention to it.

And yet somehow those people aren't. And sometimes it's in their own financial interest
