Of course, this is a weekend in which there was only one topic of discussion in Washington,

and that was yet another attempt on the life of President Donald Trump,

as well as cabinet officials and high-ranking Trump administration figures, people who were targeted by a gunman who proceeded from all the way across California via a train, bringing along firearms and booking a room at the Washington Hilton well in advance of the dinner in order

to gain access to the White House Correspondents' dinner after the event had begun.

He wanted to do so based on a manifesto that's very clear, but that I also want to call notice to because it's so typical.

It's something that you could actually read, I think, from just about any leftist Redditor or

even on X, you could find it without any kind of flags or anything along those lines, as long as

it wasn't explicitly

declaring that it intended to be, the intended outcome was the death of the president.

And the reasons and justifications given are the kinds of things that I think many people

could hear from absolutely typical Democrats across the country. I've been warning for a while now that the

radicalism within the Democratic Party is a much larger portion than I think people typically recognize.

Some people still refer to it as a fringe or the extreme. They use language around it that

suggests that it is a small number. And yet the most recent data that
