Welcome back to another Fran Theory Mini episode of Lizza people.

All right, um, let's get down to business.

This is a serious one. It's an intense one. It's one that's going to make a lot of people uncomfortable.

It, you know, sort of challenges a lot of sacred cows that we've set up for ourselves,

but I think it's important for us to talk about.

This episode, of course, deals with the theory

that Sandy dies in the first couple of minutes of Greece and the rest of the movie in that

entire year of high school is, you know, her brain, her brain's last second sort of playing out a fantasy of what might have happened

had she survived. Are you with me?

Now, there's a couple of things in Greece that are really weird.

And by a couple things, I mean the whole goddamn movie,

it's insane.

And all the popular evidence is that when it was a stage play it was not nearly that insane

There were no weird fantasy sequences all the songs like sort of made sense and fit with the action

But oh boy, when Jim Jacobs got it on to film, it went freaking bonkers and a lot of weird choices get made, got made.
