Keep your hope in Heaven, and hold lightly the things of Earth. Oh my goodness, it has so much to do with our current seasons.

starting. So thanks for joining us today. Foundation 11 is keep your hope in heaven and hold

lightly the things of earth. And it's based on 1. Peter 1.13, which reads,

therefore, preparing your minds for action and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace

that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Oh my goodness, Troy, when we wrote this,

we had no idea that a year and a half later, we would be in a worldwide pandemic.

And we would feel like people in exile, like the church in.

I mean, how would we ever have thought that this very thing, keep your hope in heaven,

So it's almost like finals time, right?

We're being called real time right now, real life,

to evaluate where our hope is at.

You know, this has been obviously like nothing that we've ever seen in our generation.

And I've thought through, you know, this situation that we're in and thought about my grandparents,

you know, my Nana and Papa lived through World War II and that whole time of just turmoil worldwide.
