We're going to talk about how to see others and ourselves as image-bearing souls.

Okay, well, welcome back to the show. We're excited to have some time to talk about this idea of image-bearing souls.

And babe, when we were kind of prepping for this, you put some very important things together

about kind of where we've been in the book and some of the

things that we've been talking about and really where this one takes us. Why don't you share

that connection, the connection between who God is and who we are? Foundation 10, if you're

joining us in the book, is think of others as God does, image bearing souls. And that's out of

2 Corinthians 516,

which says, from now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh.

Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.

You know, it's a little daunting and overwhelming to think about this particular one because I know that none of us think rightly all the time about the people that are in our homes.

We don't always think rightly about our spouses, our children, our coworkers, our friends.

We usually filter through our own mind about what we expect from them and what we want

them to do in response to us. And I was thinking about it today in preparation for our conversation

here that this foundation is specifically an outworking of our beliefs in relation to other people.

It's directly an overflow that affects our relationships, whereas a lot of other
