Welcome to the Foundations podcast.

We're excited to be back with you.

And today we're actually talking about the first foundation,

which is love God above all else and with all you've got.

It's going to be a good one, the foundation of all things. Yeah, let's get to it.

All right.

So, Babe, when you first started writing these, why did you start here?

That is a good question.

And, you know, that's, I think, the most important place to

start because probably the most important truth that I have ever come to understand is that God

loves me, right? Love is that most important verb in all of human existence, right? Like Paul says,

without love, it's nothing. For all the stuff that we might

ever be able to become or do, if we don't have love, we're nothing. And really, this, you know,

this foundation starts with the fact that we're loved by God. And our response to that love

from him is to love him back. That's what he wants from us.

Out of all the foundations that we're going to be talking about, this is the most foundational

foundation, but it kind of is one of the hardest ones to talk about. I think as Christians

or people of faith wanting to know God more, you hear something like love God above all else

and with all you've got,
