Welcome to the Foundation's podcast. We are so excited to finally be here. This has been a long time coming.

It has been a long time coming and we're excited to talk to you about parenting and about discipleship and how to really just give our faith to our

children. And so many more things we want to talk about it all and kind of share from our personal

stories and lots of things that we don't get to share other places. So let's get to it. Let's do.

Troy, we are finally here. We started a podcast. Can you believe it? I can hardly believe it.

Seriously. We've been talking about this for so long. And quite honestly, so many people have

asked for it. And, you know, we've had a few things going on, raising six boys, writing a few books,

writing a business, moving to a new state, Renaud,

fixer-upper, you know, all the things that are normal life things.

They've just kind of taken over life for the last few years.

Yep.

But we are finally here and we're so excited to finally get to share a lot more from our hearts

with everybody.

But, you know, everybody knows me as Ruth

Joe Simons, the author, the gal who likes to paint and write behind the screen. But this is really

fun to finally get to do this together because what most people don't get to see is that you're

the shepherd and the pastor of grace lace.com. You're the one who reads every single post that I write.

You check my theology and check my wording and make sure that God's getting glory and that

we are teaching sound things, even through a little Instagram post. And so just so you know,

the ladies and gents of Instagram have been asking a lot for Troy Simons' insights and input because you're a dad to six boys.
