Welcome back my friends. It is time for the morning mindset. I

pray you are doing well. I've been praying for you as a listener. I've been

praying for all of those in the world who are dealing with this viral situation.

You know, never before in the history of our world.

Have we seen the entire world hunkering down to hide away so to speak from a virus a sickness and it's

my belief that it's times like this that God uses both to reveal things to us about himself and to reveal things to us

about us things in us that need to change things that need to grow areas that need to

come up to the task that's before us.

And please don't hear me say that we've got to grid our teeth and buck it up and figure

out how to work the problem, I think what our Lord is telling us is that we need to learn to rely on him more.

And that really is the topic of this episode and probably the next few because I want to talk to you

about a lesson I learned early in our married life we've just been married over 30

years now and back then we were struggling. Financially we struggled. We had a serious

medical issue with my wife that put us in debt that caused us to struggle and then the Lord was so faithful to show his

miraculous provision not only for paying off the debt but also in healing my wife I

hope to tell you that story before this series is over. But the point I'm wanting to make is that it

was during a very lean and difficult time, very similar to what many of us are

experiencing right now, that the Lord taught me a powerful lesson. He taught me what

it means to fear the Lord. Now that is a strange combination of words in a way,

because we have often been taught,

and we also, I think just as human beings

like to think that the Lord is kind and generous
