Welcome back my friends. I'm so glad you join me today for the morning mindset.

With all the circumstances going on in our world right now, I have been in prayer about what the Lord would have me say to you in these morning mindset episodes because I believe he has raised up the morning mindset for this time.

It was no accident that three years ago we started this morning mindset and now he's grown it to an audience of right around 26 to 30,000 listens every day.

There's a reason for that. I believe he's wanting his work through the gifts he's given me to encourage and sustain you during this time

and to perhaps even expand to reaching many people who do not know the Savior.

And so hasn't been praying about those things.

I believe he's given me a topic here that we need to focus in on as God's people.

Because our faith can be a happy go lucky kind of a thing.

It feels hopeful and good when we're in good circumstances,

but can lose some of its luster and in fact not be very helpful at all sometimes when hard times come.

If we are not ones who ground that faith in the realities that scripture teaches to us. In one of those

fundamental realities I referred to in yesterday's episode, it's called the

Fear of the Lord, at least that's how the Bible describes this concept.

We read Psalm chapter 111

verse number 10 yesterday.

I'm going to read it again.

Psalm 111.

says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

All those who practice it have a good understanding.

You see I always picture this like a math problem.

You see in math if you start a problem and you miss

some step at the very beginning of a lengthy algebra problem say your entire problem is going to be wrong because of that thing that you missed
