Welcome back my friends to the morning mindset. I am glad you're with me today as we

turn to the scriptures to find our hope and our stability and our strength for this crazy time that we're living in.

I want to ask you the question that I posed toward the end of yesterday's episode.

Does Jesus have your attention yet? I think this viral situation is one that

none of us can ignore it has all of our attention. And that, my friends, is not by accident.

Jesus, God is behind this situation.

He's the one who holds it in his hand.

He's the one who controls it.

He's the one who's using it for his purposes.

And I believe one of those purposes

is to get our attention.

He's wanting us to look to him, to listen,

to pray, to seek him in new ways. I would encourage you, turn your heart in that

direction. Begin listening and watching and studying the scripture and

trying to understand what he's saying to us as his people.

You see we looked yesterday at the parable of the sword that begins in verse one of

Matthew chapter 13 and Jesus tells this intriguing story at the

very beginning of the chapter to a big crowd that's assembled and then he leaves off and does not explain

the meaning of the story.

I feel that that is a very similar circumstance

to what we find ourselves in right now.

This viral thing is going on and we don't understand the why, the what, the how, any of that.
